Happy breakfast!

Random post..........

I wish there was more time to get everything done in the day..........have a ton of pictures from the summer and our trip to Pittsburgh that I would love to share.  But hey, it's almost 11PM and 5:30 rolls around quickly!!  So here are a few random pics..........

 Evie loves to be outside and is always on the move.  She can walk the whole cul de sac now!!

 Love going to the Toledo Zoo and sharing it with our friends!  Here we met up with Melissa and Sasha for the day.

 Took a day trip to Fort Wayne's Children zoo........very cool.

 There were lots of great displays to interact with.

 Evie enjoyed the scenery.

 This is quite the crazy picture.  Apparently we were showing off our crowns that we made!

 Had a great night at the circus with friends.  Here Natalie and Lindsey got to ride an elephant!!

 Natalie was introduced to the world of cotton candy, and may never be the same :)

Yeah, she can have wild hair these days......Nat loves to give her a good Mohawk in the tub!!!

It's been a busy day....and Nat is due to a birthday party in 30 minutes. She swears she is not too tired....she is just pretending to sleep in the baby shack :)

Post-Dinner Puzzle!

Pittsburgh streets are crazy....it must rival Portland for number of bridges. Drove around university of pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon, and a great park with a conservatory that we want to return to... Quick grocery run and picked up pizza (the bridge was GONE) and had food at home base. Now the girls are winding down although Evie is trying to check the apartment for baby proofing. Should be fun day tomorrow!

Saturday Happenings...

Natalie had a birthday party this afternoon, fairy themed! She even got to take home a jar of fairy dust. In the morning we stopped by Wildwood where there was a music party, complete with clowns. Evie didn't like the clown but she liked the balloon well enough!

Clean Plate Award

Evie loves to chow down with the rest of the family...tonight was hamburgers, avocado, fruit, and corn. It was a winner!

Yeah, we had to hoody up to go out and play today!! Moms arms weren't long enough to get a good picture :)

Dessert

Can't have ice cream all the time.....sometimes chocolate chip cookies are good too! Evie kept looking for more :)

Evie 12 month appointment

Made it through 3 shots and a toe poke to check her hemoglobin. Everything went well! 28 3/4 inches tall (20%) and 20# 8oz (50%). Just got up from her morning nap. Must be feeling pretty good because she won't stay still for a picture!!

Happy 4th!

It's been a great few days! We enjoyed the Sylvania fireworks last night at Natalie's preschool friend's house. Then today we followed up with playing outside and swimming/dinner with the Filatoffs. Hope you all had good times with your friends and family!!!

Super May Catch-Up

I hope you have a second, sit down and catch up on the happenings around our house.........

 The weather was hotter earlier in May and now we have had a few cold days and nights.  Can't decide if we need to turn on our air or our heat these days.

 This was Evie's first round in the bucket swing at Pacesetter park this year.  We have a swing for the playground in our backyard too.  She seems to really enjoy swinging alongside her big sister.

 We took a long walk in the stroller to the new watertower that they are building and the fossil park.  Natalie wanted to walk on her own after I had done all of the pushing up the hills!

 Here we are celebrating Mom's birthday.  Nat likes any occasion that calls for a party hat.

 Evie did pretty good with her hat too.

 Apparently, Nat is more upset about me turning 34 than I am!

 The annual touch a truck event at Epworth had decent weather.  We met the Roberts for brunch before and then the girls went out exploring.  This was a pedicab, Nat and Lindsey took a ride with Aaron around the parking lot.

 This looked like a really bad idea, but they let them climb all the way up to where the cherry picker basket was.  The girls both got in, but were too short to be seen once they were in it!

 The moving van proved to be a favorite for burning off some energy...

 Cheerios.....the perfect appetizer when mom and dad are trying to get food ready!

 Grilled cheese and tomato soup, a family favorite.......

 Evie likes her green beans and grilled cheese too.  No more baby food at our house these days!

 If you look hard you may be able to spot a few teeth!  There are three in and visible, but they are quickly multiplying...

 More party hats.  This time we had a family night at the library celebrating Sesame Street.
