Last day of VBS!

It was a day of celebration!

Natalie was all over the dancing with streamers...

Road trips, movies, and backpacks!

On Tuesday we adjusted plans and went up into michigan for an adventure.

Of course the girls wanted to go to the library first.  I think evie is still in there!

Natalie is checking out Evies book...I'm sure she will need it back soon.

The restaurant was called the stable in Blissfield.  It's affiliated with the Harhaway House.  Really good food and pennants from all over- even Minnesota (yeah , Johnson's!).

Not every day ends well...

Yet after a sweaty bike ride, a Popsicle makes it all better!

Wednesday was $1 movie matinee for the kids.  The whole Jackson and Lindon crew had fun!

This may look like lounging, but really it was today's pre lunch melt down...

The art project of the day was making fossils in clay with a bunch of shells the girls had gathered in Seattle when they were with uncle Matt and aunt Jess.

I think they took the project seriously!

Natalie had to model her new backpack...getting closer and closer to kindergarten!

Doggy crystal...

Every dog should have the luxury of drinking out of crystal....it's a good use for bowls that you got for your wedding and have been gathering dust!

The downside is that I can't tell if there is water in it!  In reality, obis dog bowls just needed a good wash :)

Eating outside after a few hours of pool and playground time!  The girls got me soaked, but it was worth it because they also let me read a magazine!!!

Dance and the Pizza Bandit!

After a busy four nights,Thursday was the last dance class in the frozen dance camp.

They learned three different dances - ballet, tap, and jazz.

Everyone loves the party lights!

It was also the end of vacation bible school.  Nat is in the front - orange dress next to talk purple striped girl.

The Lindons came over for dinner and games on Friday night.  Fun for all!  Except Aaron had to play the train game....but at least he won!

Dad took the girls to a wild perrysburg park.  It had plenty of things for the girls to climb!

Round two of the cabin!  The girls went up with Aaron during the week for a full day of fun!

Obi had his 8 year check up today, looking good buddy!  Natalie has had her vacation bible school all week in the morning.  And now I'm hanging at frozen dance camp!!!  Olaf made an appearance today....little performance on Thursday night to show us what they have learned.  Hopefully we can get some pics!

July 5th - Cabin Trip

The final outing of the weekend was up to the Cable's cabin in the Irish Hills.

Even though I thought it was a little chilly the kids were more than happy to play in the sand!

Evie getting ready for her speedboat ride.  First lap around the lake was okay, second lap she decided that maybe boating wasn't her thing.  Natalie, however, kept yelling, "this is the life!"

After a bonfire and s'mores it was time to head home...

Bedtime has been on vacation!  Time to get back to reality, but it was an awesome weekend, we had so much fun!
