Baby Kickboxing

Mom went to a kickboxing class with Amy yesterday. I must have picked up on some of the moves because I really made a mess at lunch. Really Mom, you should have known better! So sad to see my corn all over myself...Parker and I had fun playing in a clothes pile. As always, there are lots of girly clothes to go around.
Parker was talking and smiling lots with me, but she's hard to catch in action.
We had some quality play time in my crib this morning. Until Parker tried to do a header!
Well, the weekend has flown by! I had lots of fun with Parker and her parents. I'm thinking about Baby Roberts, come out soon!!! I can't wait to meet you!

Real Bananas!

This is me after I ate mashed up bananas.
Recovery period.
More bananas!
Starting facing forward....
Turning...
Ninety degrees, and stretch!

Rockstar....

That's what Dad was drinking today. Even though I have been pretty good and sticking to my "don't get up at night rule" I like to talk to myself and sometimes just make noise. I am on night 3 of these new rules and things have been going pretty well. Dad was taking the brunt of my wrath, he slept in the basement with the monitor to spare Mom from all of the night interruptions. But now she's off work and it's the weekend! I'm looking forward to playing with Parker tonight, but I'm guessing she's going to get here when I am in bed. It's really cold here, so I'm going to stay inside and play today...

Nine Month Dr Visit!

It's been a busy day, but I wanted to let you know that I had a good visit to the doctor today! I clocked in at 20.5 pounds (75th) and 28 inches (50th). Mom and Dad said that I didn't cooperate very well for the height measurement, so that is an estimate :) I also made a lot of noise when they poked my toe to check my hemoglobin (it was great).
I like playing with Mom's hat!
I'm not crawling yet, but all of my playing in my exersaucer has given me strong legs. I like to try to stand. Maybe soon I'll pull up to the couch on my own.
This is my Valentine's Day doggy from Grandpa and Grandma Hiatt. I especially like the ears!
Me in my PJs! The doc told me I need to sleep at night without making a peep. Or at least wake up and roll over to go back to sleep......something like that. Give Mom and Dad a break! I'll report more on my progress for that later.......sweet dreams!

Yeah, Nine Months!

Tuesday I went to the dentist with Mom and Dad....I didn't let them see my one little tooth. We are going to look again in 6 months, but until then I am going to practice with my tooth brush. That afternoon I also went to the art museum to see the Chihuly exhibit. I also liked the demonstration of glass blowing (and the lady there liked my owl shoes).
I've been practicing my rocking on all fours and I like to roll around with Dad!
Cutie pie
I have a stash of clothes in bigger sizes in my closet. Mom was worried that some of my clothes won't fit in the summer, so we had a little fashion show. I liked my tennis outfit quite a bit!
Summer dress in January
This was Thursday morning, I'm nine months! Squint and you can see my little tooth on the bottom!
Modeling my fancy clothes...
Not crawling yet.
I went and surprised Mom at work.
Hugs!
Another fun day with Dad and Obi. I go for my 9 month appointment next Tuesday....then we'll get my new stats!

For Comparison

It was mentioned earlier on when I posted my Christmas pics that this dress was Mom's first Christmas dress. Well, I thought it would be fun to compare. Who am I starting to look like? Too bad we don't have one of Dad in the dress too.....

My Week in Review

It seemed like the week just flew by! Mom worked Mon/Thurs/Friday and now we are enjoying a five day weekend!! Here's a review of what I've been up to...
Grandpa and Grandma Hiatt sent me a nice "Miss You" card in the mail. I hung on to it for quite a while, but then Mom took it away when I tried to eat it. I'm getting into protesting when something is taken away. I think that Mom and Dad try to distract me when they take things away! Obi is finally feeling better. I think that he even smiled for this picture.
Tuesday the whole family went over to meet Danielle and Kevin's twin girls. They were born December 20th but have only been home for a week now. I am so excited to have more playmates! Both Ally and Lily are doing well....probably closing in on 5 pounds a piece. Mom thought they were fun to hold because there were so tiny! I entertained myself on the floor for quite a while and even practiced some rocking on all fours for Danielle.
This is Ally...
And here's Lily.
Here's proud Daddy Kevin with Ally.
As always excited to wear such fun clothes! This is my Minnie Mouse velour outfit from Grandma and Grandpa Jackson.
On Friday we went out for lunch at the Hungry I. I've been practicing with my sippy cup, but have a hard time getting the up motion to drink. Mom hooked my bottle up with some handles so I could feed myself, the recline in my high chair helped too.
I haven't seen Lori in ages! She's doing a good job cooking Baby Roberts. I hear that my buddy is a good size already...due date 2/8/10! Can't wait to meet him/her! I also had a great time making my old man face at Jim. And I bit his finger.
We were at the Niemans house to celebrate Hannah's 2nd birthday. She loves babies! She got a little stroller for her baby doll. I think she wanted to push me around in it.....
Yes, that is a 2 year old. Must be the camera angle...
Hannah wanted to give me hugs. She was VERY strong!
Macie wanted to say hello too! We are a happy group of girls!
It was a busy day yesterday....I slept in to 8:30 this morning to rest up. Now I'm ready to go!!!

Baby Out.

Yeah, I'm going out on the town and this is how I rock it!
And here's my new blond Mommy. She really is more fun.

Crazy Hair and More...

Today was a girl's day. Dad went out for Baby Roberts diaper party so it was just me and Mom. We did a few errands and played a lot at home. Here's a peek at my life the past few days!
Even though I look very serious sitting at the piano, this is not the case. I like to sing along and change the tones (favorite one lately is harpsichord). This is my first time "sitting" alone at the piano. Usually I'm on Mom or Dad's lap.
Winter means static and static means crazy hair!
I've had this little curl in the front for a few days.......Mom molded it after my bath and it's stuck!
Practicing my drinking skills.
My new book shelf, full of goodies!
I like to read aloud!
Sandra Boynton books are my favorites....but I also like it when Mom and Dad read to me my bigger books. One of their favorites is the Hound from the Pound. I like it when they do the barking and howling!

Glamour Girl (and Dog)

I was goofing around with Mom when we were getting ready for bed one night. This is my new sleep sack, but I was wearing it with a train!
On Tuesday we took a family field trip up to a fancy mall in Michigan. We all got to go shopping with our Christmas money....Dad got jeans, Mom got a pair of shoes, and I got sunglasses!
They are my cereal eating glasses....
And they make me look fabulous!
I've been having fun with all of my new Christmas toys and wearing my fancy new clothes.
And Obi got his hair cut yesterday....I liked watching him, he looks like half of the dog! It was a family effort to put all of the Christmas decorations away. We managed to get through it all. It was snowing when I was getting ready for bed tonight, I'm sure when I wake up we'll have at least 4 or 5 inches!
