Tuesday Date Day

Mom gets to hang out with Dad and Evie on Tuesdays....

We ran some errands and adventured up into michigan for lunch!  Hoping the weather turns nicer, Natalie has her cross country meet tonight and it's cool out!!!

Breast Cancer Walk

We had a good time getting the wagon ready for the breast cancer walk....

A 5k is a long slow walk.  With this many people it took an hour and twenty-five minutes!

Cross Country Run!

Natalie has been going to highland running club on Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school!  All her hard work has paid off...today she ran in her first ever cross country track meet!  It was 0.5 miles, complete with starter gun and an inflatable finish line arch!  A local running shop helps sponsor the event.  It was madness!!

Getting going!  Already red because we got to the meet early and she had run for that thirty minutes in excitement!

After crossing the finish line and getting high fives she placed 13th!  We were really proud of her.  Running club hasn't been easy, but she did awesome!!!  She got a ribbon and her picture taken, go highland CC!!

Farming and Fishing!

It's been feeling like fall around here!  The Jackson's are in town so we got to share a trip to Erie Orchards!

After a full afternoon outside we decided to walk up and try fishing in our front pond.

Nat went first and got baby catfish, Aaron  got the dad, and I pulled in the grandpa!

Wednesday morning was Evie's first day at CDO.  

Aaron had to sneak out...and when they said see you next week she said "Evie no more school!"  We will see how things go tomorrow...

She is most definitely not this messy of an eater, I think she was putting on a show!

I got to stop by Natalie's school today for lunch.  Her artwork was above her locker.

Natalie likes lunchtime with her friends!  I was a valuable resource, I must have opened 20 items for kindergarteners!!  Makes you think about what you pack :)

To top off the busy day Natalie had dance tonight, the whole family went and evie showed off her moves.

She never slows down!

And the last thing of the night....ice cream social at highland!  Hard to believe how busy we were today!!!!  And it's only Tuesday!
