Post Pool Nap!

We got invited to a friend's pool today.  The 80 plus weather has been fun, but it's even better with a pool!

Maybe the single best thing about having a pool would be that it tires your kids out.  We don't get many naps out of this 5 year old these days!

Not only did we have to wake Nat up, Evie wasn't pleased to be roused out of bed.  We didn't want them to miss dinner!

Sometimes the only snuggle time I can get is when she is just post-sleep!  Everyone finally got moving again, but it took a bit!

Safety City!

In what seems to be a hallmark of sylvania schools, Nat completed Safety City this week in preparation for kindergarten.

It was a large group at graduation.  There were several classes, Nat was in the blue class.

Natalie getting her certificate.  Over the course of the week they talked anout police, fire, EMT, water safety, how to ride the bus, stranger danger, rules of the road and much more!

Nat's buddy Eve was also in the blue class.

The supportive siblings!  Evie and Sam are buddies :)

To celebrate the big day it was time to go swimming at Plummer pool!

Appointment number two!

It's the day of the sucker!  Evie had her two year appointment today and did really well.  No shots and was real talkative with everyone.

Current stats are 25 pounds (25%) and 33" (50%).  Head size at 45%.  No more scheduled visits until 2 1/2!

While we were out had to return a pair of shorts from Aunt Coco....Evie traded it in for a cute Minnie Mouse swimsuit.  Liked it so much she's currently taking a nap in it!

One appointment down!

Evies pulmonology appointment went great!  Back in October to see how the cold season is going....

 The annual summer party at Mick and Maryanne's house was a ton of fun last night!

Off to Seattle!

Went with dad to get his haircut yesterday....

Evie had birthday part one yesterday too!

Evie knows the word present, she did a good job opening.

Finished off the day with a little sprinkler time!  We are looking forward to vacation!!

Summer of the Zoo

Jackson goal of the summer - hit a bunch of zoos!  Last weekend was Columbus.  Today we trekked north to the Detroit zoo!

The butterfly house was fun and that connected to the aviary.  The train was great and we got cooled off by the fountain blowing water on us!

Never tired Nat even got some rest on the way home.

Evie was a trooper, she ran around the zoo a ton and crashed shortly after we left.  Favorite parts of the zoo were the train, polar bear exhibit, and butterfly house!
