2 Weeks Old!

It's been a very busy two weeks....  I have all sorts of pictures to put up, but I should be napping right now!  Here are a few teasers :)
Usually Evie hangs out in her simple onesies.  But today she threw on a fancy dress and went for a walk around the neighborhood with Mom.
I can't be shown up, so I too decked out in my prettiest of dresses!  I had an awesome morning with Dad.  He took me to see Brave and I'm already talking about going again!  I think that I may be a movie goer.....not only do I like the popcorn and candy I can sit through a whole movie, no problem!

I will be adding more pictures as I have time.....strangely, things have been very busy around our house these days!!!

Day 2 - Visitors Galore

Thanks to all of the visitors who came through to visit today, bringing armfuls of gifts. Special mention to the giant cookie brought by Jim, Lori & Lindsey. We shared enough sugar with all of the nurses in the unit to help them all get through the overnight shift. Evelyn and Jen are still doing great and hope to be home late tomorrow afternoon. For those not able to make it yet in person, here's some pictures for you. Note all of the pictures show someone holding Evelyn. There was not one picture taken today of just her alone (except for the professional photo shoot done this afternoon - to follow later).

 Mom and daughters!

 Grandma J & Evie.

With all of this holding, Natalie wanted to get into the holding game. She does not fit in the hospital blankets as well as her sister.

Maryanne, Ava, Ian and Little Evelyn.

 Sitting with Mom.

Ally stops by for a quick hold.

Weekend Update

Time is getting down there on being an only child!  Dad took me to the Zoo on Thursday....
One of my favorite books from the library has been about dinosaurs.  So I was excited to see these statues.
The turtles needed some hugs :)
This is a big birds nest!  I visited the aviary this time around, which I don't often get to see.  I also got to see the new elephant habitat.
 Fast like a cheetah!
This weekend I had some quality tent time.  Lots of books and Dad even got in there to hang out.  Mom is temporarily off tent time due to bending restrictions!
We had a fun family day today.  I had a nice breakfast outside with Mom and lots of play time in the yard before it got REALLY hot outside.  Here I was headed out for lunch and a few errands.  I make Mom's sunglasses look good!
Outfit change!  I had a new dress to wear....  Dad BBQed and we ate outside again.  Then it was time to play with my ribbon (great wind) and launch a new kite!
 Parrot kite away!!
 In flight.....
Dad shared the reigns with me.  It was a great night and I got to join a bike parade with some of the girls down the road.  This neighborhood has lots of great friends to hang out with!  Grandma J is coming to visit tomorrow and Baby Skosh is on it's way!!!

Getting Down There......

It was another busy Tuesday!  Mom had her Dr.'s appointment today.  Things are going well and a deadline has been set!  I will be a big sister sometime between now and Tuesday the 12th (scheduled induction).
Front look.
Sideways shot!

We had a fun family date day.  Lunch at Red Robin, which was very busy, and I went with Mom and Dad to buy a toy to take to the hospital for the baby.  Then in the afternoon Taylor came over to babysit.  Mom and Dad snuck out for some time alone, I hear that this might slow down soon!

Things are going to be exciting around here, I will keep you posted!!!

Daniels' Visit Wrap-Up!

I had a great Memorial Day Weekend!  The Daniels came in on the Thursday before and stayed until Tuesday.  I'm already planning my next visit to go see Parker :)
We had beautiful weather most of the weekend.....so we made the most of it by being outside as much as possible!  Parker was a good baseball player and we both took a turn at the big bubble wands.
 Success!
Parker was getting good at pedaling a bike.  The tricky part is that the driveway is sloped and there are no brakes!!  Parker and I also took some tries at hockey and flying kites!
When it hits 90 the sprinkler has to come out!  This was kind of an impromptu run through......swimsuits optional :)
We took a few family walks around the culdesac.  We were quite the wagon train!  I wanted to try out my new stroller with Corbin on board.
We had to set up a "rest station" in the garage to get some relief from the hot sun!
Corbin loved hanging out in the Bumbo!  He also got to brake in the swing and bouncer again for Baby J!
The pool was a favorite!  Parker needs to work on her cold weather endurance (temps less than 90), but did well with a "warm up break" with her mom and dad.  I would play until my limbs were numb!!!
Even Obi spent some time out in the front yard.  No fence, but he will stay put on a lead!
I love taking a ride with Parker!
The elementary school down the road had a great playground that I had never been to before...
Parker likes the really high and fast slides!
 Good times licking the spoons!
Wildwood swing time.....we've moved out of the bucket swings :)
Juice break!  This is what the trunk of an SUV is really for!!
And what visit to Toledo is complete without a trip to Handel's ice cream???
It was a very busy time with the Daniels......now I am taking some time to reflect on the good times.  Taking some quiet time with my books :)
I don't think that things are going to be quiet here too much longer!  Here's Mom's pic from her 37 weeks on Tuesday!!!  I'll keep you posted on my little sister/brother!!!!
