18 Month Stats

I went to the doctor's today for my 18 month check. I seem to remember the place from my last few sick visits and wasn't too happy to be visiting again. But all was well... I'm 24 pounds and 12 ounces (a little above 50th %), 32 1/2 inches (75th %) and my noggin is 75th % as well. Everything is going well and I get to avoid them until my two year check!
My new step stool. I have a strangely hard time just sitting down on it.
Yes, sometimes this is what it takes BEFORE I can sit down!
Getting ready for Halloween!
Very spooky...

Babysitting Parker!

I spent the weekend down in Columbus with my buddy Parker. Parker's Mom and Dad had a busy weekend working so we got to fill in. It was a fun-filled weekend and I was VERY tired by the time I got home today!
Saturday morning....one highchair and two babies! We both did a good job sharing the highchair time.
Parker Jane...baby model.
On Saturday we also took an adventure. Hard to do when you have two babies on different nap schedules. It was pretty wild having two carseats in the Honda.
Looking up at Mom and Dad.
We did lots of things together. Parker showed me her music toy and we both pushed around the cozy coupe.
Nope, it's not a two seater!
Help Dad! Come push me around!
Parker was happy to see her Mom on Saturday night.
Sunday morning....we were playing in Obi's crate.
Like I said, it was a busy weekend and I managed to get a wink on the drive home from Columbus. Thanks for the fun Parker!

Guess Who's 18 Months??

Yesterday was the big day! I celebrated with a little bit of a cold. But overall it was a good day.
I harassed Obi by laying on his pillow (quite soft).
And after dinner I got a cupcake to celebrate. Remember how clean I was with my 1 year fish cake? Not tonight! I showed Mom how I could squish frosting, and then run it up into my hair...
A pretty tasty cupcake.
For my 18th I got a set of blocks. I think I'm going to have to watch Obi, he was awfully interested in sharing....

Street Fairs.....Parties....and Parks!

Sorry it's been so long since the last update. I don't know where the days go!
Last weekend I went with Mom to the Apple Butter festival in Grand Rapids. We got up bright and early and hit the streets by 8:30. I'm glad we got there early because it was crowded and hot by the time we left. I had a great time hanging out with the Roberts girls. Lindsey had a great pumpkin hat and Mom found me a cute apple hat for the fall.
I'm not sure if I want to wear the hat yet. But I thought that Obi looked really great in it!
The same day I went over to Connor's house to help celebrate his third birthday. It was beautiful weather and I got to play with all sorts of little kids. There were lots of trucks there, something I don't have much of at my house!
Connor had a bounce house in his yard. When it was time for the little kids to try it out I got to jump in with Mom and Dad. I had a great time, lots of giggling!
Dad and I could almost touch the ceiling!
I also found a fun fire truck that I could drive around all by myself....
My high chair has become a good spot for Mom or Dad to do my hair. They say it's easier since I'm not trying to run away!
Thursday I had an outing with Mom and Dad. I went out and bought my winter coat and some fun pink boots. We also had a nice lunch at Red Robin. The shopping really wore me out and Mom and Dad came in to wake me up. I ignored them for quite awhile which just isn't like me.
During my nap Thursday, Mom and Dad also did a power raking of the backyard. We have lots and lots of leaves! I think that they are going to have to rake again this week.
Obi posing for the camera.
I discovered that Mom and Dad's duvet is soft and fun to jump into.
Looking cute!
Friday night the Daniels came up to Toledo to visit. Saturday I got to play with Parker all day. It kept me busy!
Both of us like the dog crates.
Miss Parker Pants.
I really liked to bother Parker when she was in her high chair. I wanted to eat whenever she did...
Today was nice weather for October. We gathered up the gang and went to Wildwood park. I got to ride with Dad.
Yes, three dogs and three babies!
Hope you all got to enjoy your weekend!

Kangaroo Climber!

This past weekend Mom and Dad had a Craigslist find.....here is my new "kangaroo climber!" I think that I have already got my money's worth. And it really was just like brand new, but Mom and Dad scrubbed it and made it even shinier for me!
I spend a lot of time playing with my door. I am so tall that I have to duck my head!
I like to peek out of the windows! I haven't really discovered the tunnel, probably because I don't get down and crawl. It would be awfully hard to scoot through the tunnel.
Contemplating, in or out?
I love my slide! I can go down it by myself...
All of that playing left me tuckered out!

The Fall weather has been nice the past few days. I got to take a bike ride yesterday to Wildwood and hit the playground. My bike trailer has been lots of fun. I can people watch or read my books. I've also had some nice walks around the neighborhood. I also have been practicing my "itsy bitsy spider" and "this little piggy." Girl's gotta keep busy!

Oh Spoon...

Yogurt in transport.

Sickies

Friday morning I woke up with a runny nose. Dad was just recovering after being sick this past week. Then Mom came home from work and didn't feel good either. I tried to cheer her up with some Coke!
Obi does look mysterious...
Today I stole Dad's wallet. Really.
I also had a great time reading to my animals. Still love my Hound from the Pound book! Did go to the library today and got a new pigeon book, "The Pigeon found a Hot Dog."

Toledo Hospital Visit

Tuesday was my big day for my kidney tests. Things went as well as could be expected, I wasn't happy but I bounce back quickly. The preliminary results looked good. I have a small degree of reflux from my bladder to my left kidney. They want me to keep up my daily antibiotic for now and I meet up with a pediatric urologist soon.
Earlier in the week, modeling one of my new shirts from Grandpa and Grandma Hiatt.
Giving Dad a hug as I get ready for bed.
The night before my procedure, in my good luck monkey pj's!
Monkey pj's and matching stuffed monkey!
Hanging out in the Toledo Hospital outpatient sedation services. I was okay until anybody new came by to visit (two nurses and a doctor). Then I would get upset and Mom and Dad had to work at getting me back under control. They gave me a webkins cat. I wasn't impressed at the time but it's growing on me.
Maybe yellow isn't my color?
As soon as we were done and I was changed into my clothes I was all smiles! Could have been that the nurse gave me a whole cup of apple juice....not even cut with water! What a treat!
I continued my goofiness on the ride home. Once we got home though the day had hit me and I walked into my room, grabbed a blankie, and laid down on the floor. Then it was time for a well deserved nap. Mom and Dad thought I was quite the trooper today.
Just a cute pic from the week. I love my "dance dance" t-shirt.
Fall weather means bring on the coats!
